Who delivers
About our delivery partner.
Freedom Cancer Care is provided by Reframe Cancer, in partnership with Freedom Health Insurance. Reframe Cancer is a personalised cancer support service and is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). It supports people through cancer across NHS, private or combined care.
Reframe Cancer gives members access to a team of specialists who can guide them, offer emotional support and help with practical matters, helping them feel informed and more in control. It can help ease some of the practical and emotional pressure of a cancer diagnosis, so members can focus on their health. Its support is designed to complement our own Cancer Care Team.

No. Reframe Cancer does not assess claims. Your claim is assessed by our Cancer Care Team.
Freedom Cancer Care itself does not fund or authorise cancer treatment. It is a support service that works alongside your health insurance. Cover for cancer treatment depends on your policy, and any private treatment you intend to claim for must be authorised by our Cancer Care Team before it takes place. Your policy documents explain what is covered.
One-to-one support is included with Freedom Elite, Freedom Essentials and Freedom Worldwide UK policies, whatever your level of cover, at no additional charge. Using the service does not change what your policy covers.
Yes, as long as your cancer claim has been approved. If you choose to have your treatment through the NHS, you can still use one-to-one support where we would have covered that treatment privately. Reframe Cancer can support you whether your care is through the NHS, private care or a combination of both.
One-to-one support is available from diagnosis, once our Cancer Care Team has approved your claim and referred you to Reframe Cancer. It is provided within the six-hour allowance for your claim and treatment plan. If your policy ends after you have been referred, your support can continue within that allowance.
Once you have been referred for one-to-one support, you can use the Reframe Cancer patient portal to message your support team and view your appointment notes. Your support team can tell you how to access it.
No. If you need urgent medical advice, call NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest accident and emergency department.
