How it works

From first contact to the right support

  1. Contact Freedom Wellness, your way

Call the freephone line or message on WhatsApp, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You can also use the online portal for resources, seminars and LiveConnect chat, or the Balancy app.

  2. Tell the team what you need support with

A few simple questions help clarify the support you need. To start with, you will be asked for the name of your employer. If you go on to counselling or another service, you may be asked for more details so the right support can be arranged.

  3. Access the right support

You may be connected to a work-life specialist for practical information, referred to the counselling team, or both, depending on your circumstances.

You can access Freedom Wellness as often as you need, with no overall limit on how many times you use the service. However, some individual support options have set annual limits, such as a fixed number of counselling or coaching sessions per topic, capped consultation times for legal information and financial guidance, and defined allowances for specialist programmes like mindfulness or CBT. These limits reset each policy year, while resources like recorded seminars remain available without restriction.
