Can I use this service if my GP has already referred me?
Yes. You can still use this service. It ensures you receive the most appropriate care from an independent physiotherapist.
What if my condition existed before I joined?
Conditions that existed before your cover started are usually treated as pre-existing and may not be covered, depending on your policy. Full details can be found in your policy documents, and our team is available if you would like help understanding your cover.
Do I have to pay for treatment?
We will pay the cost of your initial virtual assessment in full; we do not apply your excess to this cost. Any future follow-up treatment is also paid by us, in full, subject to the deduction of your policy excess and any outpatient treatment limit your policy has.

What happens at my first appointment?
At your first appointment, your physiotherapist will discuss your symptoms and medical history, assess the affected area, and provide a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. In some cases, treatment may begin during the session, and if needed, you may be referred to a specialist.
Will I get exercises to do at home?
Personalised exercises form a key part of your treatment and will always be provided, whether your care is delivered face to face or through self-management.
To get the most benefit, you’ll be expected to follow the advice and complete the exercises recommended by your physiotherapist. As part of your policy, ongoing cover depends on engaging with the treatment plan. If this isn’t followed, further cover may not be available.
How many appointments will I need?
