Before using the service, Freedom Health Insurance will need to review your cover and eligibility, as not all lesions are suitable for the pathway.

Yes, as long as you downloaded the Kry app and activated your membership while in the UK. You can then have phone or video consultations while you are temporarily abroad. Any prescriptions or referral letters can only be used once you are back in the UK, and medication can only be delivered to a UK address.
If the GP considers that you need a specialist assessment or further treatment, they can provide an open referral letter for private medical care. This cannot be used to access NHS services. You can choose to receive the letter by post or email.
A referral letter does not confirm that your policy covers the recommended care. Contact Freedom Health Insurance before arranging any private treatment so we can check your cover.

No. Kry does not offer Digital GP consultations for children under 12 months old because it considers children of this age should receive face-to-face medical assessment rather than a remote consultation. If your child needs medical attention, please contact your usual GP or another appropriate healthcare service.
Kry will send you a reminder before your appointment. Make sure notifications are enabled on your device.
Find a quiet, comfortable spot with a stable internet connection, and ensure your phone is fully charged. The healthcare professional will call you via the Kry app at your appointment time.
For help with ID verification or booking, email Kry support at support@kry.co.uk or call 0203 870 3029.
Many health concerns can be dealt with in a digital GP appointment. If your symptoms need a physical examination, or you need a repeat prescription, you may be referred to your own GP.
If clinically appropriate, the GP can provide a referral letter for private specialist treatment. These referral letters are intended for private healthcare and cannot be used to arrange NHS specialist treatment. If you wish to access NHS specialist services, you should contact your NHS GP. Having private medical insurance does not affect your entitlement to NHS services.
Freedom Digital GP appointments take place through the Kry app, so you will need a smartphone or tablet to use the service. If you have difficulty booking through the app, Kry’s Patient Support team can help on 0203 870 3029, but the appointment itself will still take place in the app.
If you are not satisfied with the clinical service you have received from Kry, or you have any concerns about the clinical advice you have been given, please contact Kry directly by filling out the feedback reporting form. Kry will acknowledge your complaint within 72 hours and respond within 20 days.
If your concern is urgent, or relates to a GP appointment that has already taken place, please call Kry on 0203 870 3029.
If your concern is about Freedom Health Insurance, for example the eligibility or membership information we have given you, or registering for the service, please contact us at freedomgp@fhi.co.uk or call 01202 283 580.
When you register with the Kry app, you will be asked to read and agree to Kry’s terms and conditions and privacy notice. Kry is responsible for the personal information you provide when using its Digital GP service, including your consultation and clinical records. Kry’s privacy notice explains how it collects, uses and protects this information.
