Freedom Wins Cover Award Customer Service

This year, Freedom Health Insurance won the Customer Service: ‘Above and Beyond’ award in the Cover Customer Service Awards 2023.

The Cover Customer Care awards is an annual event, organised by Cover Magazine that aims to celebrate and recognise organisations, teams and individuals that excel in their services and prioritise customer satisfaction. 

Finalists for three awards

Alongside the Customer Service: ‘Above and Beyond’ award, we were also shortlisted for two further awards including Outstanding Intermediary Support Champion and Outstanding Intermediary Support Team.

Outstanding Intermediary Support Champion

The Outstanding Intermediary Support Champion was open to individual nominations and our Head of Intermediary Accounts, Rob Hird was amongst the finalists.

Rob has been in the health insurance industry for 13 years and within that time he has developed excellent knowledge and communication skills which have enabled him to offer personal and effective customer service to our brokers. If a broker needs assistance, Rob is always willing to put other tasks on hold to promptly address enquiries to provide the support that’s needed.

Outstanding Intermediary Support Team

This award was open to intermediary support teams within the industry that go above and beyond for their brokers. Rob Malvasi, Head of Sales and Rob Hird, Intermediary Account Manager were amongst those shortlisted.

This award means a great deal as it shows we were recognised for the efforts our intermediary team do for our brokers and their clients. Although our intermediary team is small, our brokers know they can pick up the phone whenever they need support, and they will answer straight away.

How we will continue to achieve high levels of customer service

We place great importance on the feedback and suggestions provided by our clients and intermediaries, as they play a vital role in our commitment to delivering outstanding service and maintaining successful relationships. We were delighted with the result of the Cover Customer Care Awards 2023 as it amplified all our past efforts to going above and beyond for our customers. We will always continue to be dedicated to enhancing our service quality in the years to come.
