Yes, you can. For the UK plans, you only get charged for the first child added to your policy. Any additional children can be added at no extra cost.
For our Freedom Worldwide plan, after your 4th child, all additional children are added at no extra cost.
Your child can be on your policy until they turn 25 on personal policies and up to the age of 30 for group policies.
Yes, we allow children to be added to a parent’s policy from the day they are born.
This option is available only on our UK plans. If you select this option when buying a new Freedom Elite or Essentials policy, you are guaranteed to pay the same price for your first two years of cover, even if you made any claims during the first year. Once your Freedom Health Insurance policy becomes active, you cannot add extra benefits to it, however, you can remove benefits, add or remove people or change contact details. If you would like to make a change to your policy, speak to a member of our team.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period once you have purchased a new policy. This means that you have 14 days from the date you receive the policy documents to cancel it and get a full refund if no claims have been made.
If you decide you want to cancel your policy, you may do so with no charge.
If no claim has been made, we may refund any premium which has been paid for the rest of the period of insurance. If a claim has been made, we will cancel the policy, but we will not refund any premium and you must pay us the rest of the full annual premium for the period of insurance.
