How quickly do I have to get in touch with you after leaving my company scheme to ensure I can continue my health cover with Freedom Health Insurance?

Once you know that you are going to leave your company’s health scheme, you should get in touch with us within 30 days to ensure your health cover continues after you left your employer’s group plan. Failure to do so may result in you not being able to get cover for any pre-existing conditions covered by your old company policy.

Can I move from a Freedom Health Insurance company scheme to a personal health plan?

Can I add my children and my partner to my policy when switching to Freedom?

If they were already covered by your employer’s scheme, you can add your family to your personal plan on the same terms as you. If they weren’t on your employer’s group plan, you can still add them to your cover, however any pre-existing conditions will not be covered.
