Computerised cognitive behavioral therapy (cCBT)

cCBT -  online interactive sessions teach you how to apply CBT concepts to change the way you think about and perceive events, resulting in an improvement to your personal well-being. 

Seven sessions offered online over seven weeks. A qualified counsellor will track your progress and guide you throughout.

Do I have to be in a crisis to use Freedom Wellness?

Absolutely not. In fact, we encourage people to contact Freedom Wellness as soon as the issue arises. We recognise that there is a lot to juggle on a day-to-day basis, and sometimes we could all do with some extra support to help us manage life's everyday challenges.

Do you give advice?

We do not offer advice, which is based on opinion, but can provide you with all the information you need to be able to make informed decisions to help you with your current situation.

How do I access Freedom Wellness?

There are plenty of ways to contact the service. The service is available via an 0800 freephone number, email, instant messaging, SMS texting, minicom, and online.

How often can I use the service?

You can use the service as many times as you want, there is no limit.

Is it confidential?

Yes - when you contact Freedom Wellness, the only information required from you is the name of your employer. Your employer will receive utilisation statistics on the number of people using the support, but no personal, identifying information will be disclosed. No one will know that you have contacted the service unless you choose to disclose this information. Workplace Options is bound by professional standards regarding confidentiality and the disclosure of details of individuals who have contacted Freedom Wellness.

Is it free to use?

Yes, the service is paid for by your employer. You won't have to pay for any information or support that you receive directly from Freedom Wellness.

How does this add value for me?

Freedom Wellness can support you through difficult times, if you need extra support, feel alone, or would like an independent ear. It can also save you precious time and legwork when dealing with everyday, practical issues. Overall, using Freedom Wellness should help reduce stress and anxiety, improve your wellbeing, and free you up to focus on other things.

What happens once I've contacted Freedom Wellness?

When you contact the service you will be asked some simple questions to help clarify the support you need. After this, you may be connected to one of our work-life specialists who will provide you with practical information and support. Alternatively, or in addition, you may be referred to one of our counselling team who will assess the best form of counselling support to suit your needs.

Who are the Freedom Wellness consultants?

Freedom Wellness is staffed by a team of highly trained and qualified professionals who are experts in fields such as wellbeing, family matters, relationships, debt management, workplace issues, consumer rights, counselling, and much more. You can be confident that the information you receive is accurate, up to date, and relevant to your particular circumstances. 

Who provides the service?

The service is run by Workplace Options, an expert provider of employee support services, which has been providing EAPs since 1982 and is completely independent from your organisation. 

Will I contact a 'real' person?

Yes, when you contact Freedom Wellness, you’ll speak directly with a real consultant who can assist you right away.
