What does this policy cover?

The amount you are covered for depends on what you are claiming for and the type of policy you have.

What are the limitations to my claim?

There are different limits depending on the policy type:

  • Diamond 2,000,000 (€/£/$)
  • Platinum 1,000,000 (€/£/$)
  • Gold 750,000 (€/£/$)
  • Silver 500,000 (€/£/$)
  • Bronze 500,000 (€/£/$)

As well as the general exclusions (above) the following are not included in your policy:
  • Treatment outside geographical (Primary and Essential – no cover) area unless for an emergency
  • Treatment costs over the individual benefit limit(s)
  • Minimum age of entry is 18 years and Maximum age of entry is 70 years
  • Dental treatment covered up to 75% of the maximum benefit payable

Is there a time restriction before I can use my policy?

There are no time restrictions before you can use the Worldwide policy except for the maternity benefit. You will be able to claim these benefits after 11 months from the policy inception date.

What areas does Worldwide Cover?

You can choose the areas you would like covered by your policy. Choose from:

  • Europe
  • Worldwide (excluding USA)
  • Worldwide (including USA)

What is the in-patient cash benefit?

The Worldwide in-patient cash benefit is a payment given per night of stay at a non-charging hospital. For all levels of cover this is £100/night. There is a maximum number of nights at 50 nights for all the policies.

What does the chronic medical conditions cover include?

With the exception of the Bronze policy you will be covered for some chronic conditions with an annual limit depending on the level of cover you choose.

What does the dental cover include?

With the exception of Bronze and Silver, Worldwide will cover up to 75% of:

  • Dental surgery
  • Emergency out-patient dental surgery
  • Orthodontic treatment (only for members 18 years and younger and with a 12 month waiting period)
