Who Are Skin Analytics?
Skin Analytics, founded in 2012, is a trusted, clinically validated service that allows members to assess moles, lesions, and other skin concerns. They have been working alongside the NHS for almost a decade and, since 2020, have seen over With pressures on dermatology departments seeing an 11% increase on referral rates year on year, NHS departments are now using the digital service, DERM, to increase the amount of pateints they are able to see.
Founded in 2012, Skin Analytics is a clinically validated service that helps people assess moles, lesions, and other skin concerns. They have worked alongside the NHS for nearly a decade and, since 2020, have supported more than 170,000 patients.
With demand for dermatology referral rates growing by around 11% each year, NHS departments are under pressure to see more patients, more quickly. Skin Analytics provides the digital dermatology technology known as DERM, which allows clinicians to increase capacity while maintaining high standards of care.
How well does the service work?
All assessments are reviewed by GMC-registered consultant dermatologists, so members can be confident they are receiving safe, high-quality care. Skin Analytics focuses on the early detection of skin cancer, including melanoma, with independent research showing impressive results:
