More women in the UK die from heart attacks than from breast cancer in the UK. And according to a new report by the British Heart Foundation women are more likely to die from heart attacks than men.

Women are well informed about the risks of breast cancer and the screening and treatments available, yet the BHF found in a survey that 69 percent of women waited for three or more symptoms of a heart attack until seeking medical help.

Heart attacks symptoms can vary widely.
